Elliot M. Schaktman has been representing accident victims for over 44 years. Elliot handles complex matters including Labor law, premises, municipal and all personal injury cases. Elliot’s experience includes managing partner of a personal injury practice as well as working at his own plaintiff’s personal injury practice. Elliot’s high level of litigation experience and knowledge is a major asset to the Lipsig law firm and has resulted in obtaining substantial awards for our clients. Some of the recent settlement awards include a $7.5 million settlement for our client that fell from a defective scaffold; a $3.25 settlement for our client who was struck by heavy stones that fell from an A-frame dolly; and a $2.8 million settlement for our client that was struck by a falling object at a construction site. Elliot is licensed to practice in New York and New Jersey.
